Turning operational data
into financial clarity.

Profile

Finance fundamentals.
Analyst's instincts.

I work as a Finance & Business Operations Professional at Fortis Hospital, one of India's leading hospital networks — where I sit at the intersection of financial operations, billing reconciliation, and revenue cycle management. Every day, I work with real financial data: validating tariffs, reconciling discrepancies, and producing the reports that keep a 5+ department operation financially accurate.

Outside my core role, I've taught myself SQL and Power BI to go beyond Excel — building two independent analytics projects that mirror real consulting engagements, from problem scoping to stakeholder-ready recommendations.

I'm now looking to bring this blend of financial domain knowledge and analytical capability into a full-time Business Analyst, Finance Analyst, or Healthcare Analyst role.

01
Financial accuracy under pressure
Reconciling 25–30+ transactions daily with zero tolerance for error
02
Self-taught technical depth
SQL and Power BI learned independently, applied to real datasets
03
Stakeholder-first communication
Translating data into recommendations decision-makers actually use

Where the work happens

Hands-on financial and operational experience inside a real, high-stakes institution — not a simulation.

Jul 2025 — Present
Fortis Hospital, Mohali
Finance & Business Operations Professional
  • Own end-to-end financial processing for 30–40+ patient transactions daily — validating tariffs, package classifications, and category-specific billing rules to protect revenue accuracy.
  • Detect and resolve 7–9 financial discrepancies daily through root cause analysis, coordinating with TPAs, clinical teams, and management for same-day resolution.
  • Build Excel-based MIS and reconciliation reports used for management review, audit trails, and operational continuity across 5+ departments.
  • Run gap analysis on billing patterns to catch systemic errors before they compound — directly informing process control improvements.

Two projects. One question:
where is the value leaking?

Independent, end-to-end analytics engagements — from raw data to stakeholder recommendation.

E-Commerce Order & Delivery Performance Analysis

Analysed 99,441 orders across 8 relational tables to uncover revenue patterns, fulfilment bottlenecks, and regional delivery risk — using SQL for data extraction and Power BI for stakeholder-ready visualisation.

SQL (SQLite) Multi-table JOINs CASE WHEN logic Power BI Dashboard
  • Beauty & Health is the highest-revenue category at $1.23M — driven by order value, not volume
  • Average delivery time is 22.2 days; RR state averages 29 days vs. 22 in São Paulo
  • Only 31% of orders qualify as fast delivery (under 7 days) — 41% take 15+ days
  • Credit card dominates at 73.9% of transactions, reflecting Brazilian payment behaviour

Hospital Billing Analysis — Revenue Patterns & Discrepancies

Analysed 1,001 patient billing records (2019–2024) to identify revenue leakage patterns by diagnosis, insurer, and length of stay — delivering a structured business case to hospital stakeholders.

Pivot Tables Nested IF DAYS Formula Data Validation
  • Asthma drives the highest avg. billing at $27,329 — a 9% premium above the $25,117 average
  • Arthritis (178 cases) shows the lowest avg. billing — a potential under-billing signal
  • Blue Cross patients generate the highest avg. bill per patient at $26,241
  • High-bill patients stay 15% longer (15.8 vs. 13.7 days) — a revenue leakage risk window
